About Me

Welcome! I am a Registered Social Worker offering virtual psychotherapy services to Adults (20+) in Ontario.

Before launching my online private practice, I spent nearly a decade working in non-profit and mental health services, providing psychotherapy and addiction support to diverse and vulnerable populations. In my previous role as a psychiatric therapist, I specialized in evidence-based therapy to help individuals navigate challenges such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, and psychotic disorders. I designed and implemented comprehensive mental health programs that integrated various therapeutic approaches, ensuring clients had a structured and effective path to recovery. Working closely with psychiatrists and experienced clinicians, I helped individuals build resilience and regain control of their lives.

As a current psychotherapist for police officers, first responders, and high-stress professionals, I understand the unique challenges that come with these demanding roles. My approach is tailored to provide confidential, trauma-informed therapy, equipping my clients with the tools to manage stress, process trauma, and maintain long-term mental wellness.

Beyond my work as a therapist, I am deeply passionate about the connection between mental health, movement, and nutrition. My personal fitness journey, spanning nearly a decade, has taught me the transformative power of physical activity on emotional well-being. I believe that exercise, whether weightlifting, hiking, biking, or walking, can be an integral part of therapy—helping clients manage stress, regulate emotions, and improve overall mental health. When I’m not in session, you’ll likely find me in the gym, exploring new trails, or discovering new ways to incorporate movement into daily life.

Approach

As both a psychotherapist and health & fitness advocate, my goal is to guide, encourage, and support your journey toward holistic well-being—balancing both mind and body to cultivate a healthier, more fulfilling life. While cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based modalities are essential for addressing PTSD, anxiety, and trauma, my approach goes beyond symptom management. I work with clients to uncover deeper meaning in their challenges, helping them build resilience, purpose, and long-term personal growth.

I take an eclectic, personalized, and holistic approach to therapy, tailoring each session to meet your unique needs. Whether you're a police officer, first responder, or high-stress professional, I provide a non-judgmental, confidential space where you can feel truly heard and supported. Therapy is not just about overcoming struggles—it’s about discovering inner strength, self-awareness, and a path forward.
I firmly believe that everyone has the answers within them
selves, and my role is to help you navigate that journey. Through a combination of traditional therapy, movement-based strategies, and mindfulness practices, I assist clients in transforming challenges into opportunities for growth, direction, and lasting change. One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is seeing clients leave therapy feeling empowered, confident, and ready to live with intention and meaning.
